Q.           How do I choose a roofing contractor?

A.            This is probably the most important question any consumer should ask and the answer is actually quite simple.

  • Does the contractor have valid and adequate insurance to protect your property, contents and your family in the event of an accident?

  • Does the contractor belong to the industry standard recognized trade association RCABC and CRCA?  If not, then be very careful as they may not be installing you roof to acceptable practices and standards.  All members of RCABC and CRCA have journeymen roofers and properly trained professionals to do the job right.

  • Does your contractor have up to date and reliable references?
